Week 2 (land Clearing/Plowing/Liming/Lining process)

Hey and Asslamualaikum w.b.t  to all my fellow friends. We meet again in my review about my activity in week 2. This week I a lot of learn new things such as land clearing , liming process, plowing process and lining process that we need to do to soil to make sure we can our plants will growth with healthy and successfully. Don't morry guys I will explain to you more further after this about all the process.




Land Clearing

This process is about that we clear the land from all usefulness plants to make sure we can planting our plants without nuisance from the other pants that we call weed. We used hoe  to clear the weed from the land. Our works come easy because we all divide the works and do it together so this process became smooth and done in short time. The lesson is teamwork is good.

Plowing Process

This process can do with two methods,first by manual which is by energy of human and second by mechanical which is use tractor. We use all this methods to plow the soil on our plot. This process is to make sure the soil is loose and easy to us to throw away the foreign object from the soil. It is also can make sure the root growth normally.

Using the machines can save our time because the plot is too big.

It is also can make our work became easily rough the soil into small particles. The second method is manual process. This process is use human energy and can cause lot of works but within help of the machines it can make much easier to us.

Liming Process

After we all settle with land clearing and plowing process, we proceed with liming process. For your information, liming process is to neutral the soil because if the soil is to acidity it will make our plants not normally growth. The suitable P.h for the soil is between 5.5- 6.5, this rate of P.h good for our plants. We use lime to neutral the soil.

-25 kilogram of Lime

This lime we sprinkle on all soil that we want to planting our plants.  All of us together again scatter the lime to the soil with our hands but  we wear the glove for our protection.

Lining process

This process was the important process that we must apply to our plot. Basically, lining process is measure to divide area to make planting bed, drain and agro road. We use measuring tape to mark place to do plot that we want. Planting bed was to plants our crop. The drain was to make sure the flow of the water can through out and can not cause flood on our planting bed. The agro road was to facilitate us on do maintenance on our planting bed.

After we settle with measure the plot, we use raphia rope to mark the size that we done measure to get the perfect size of the planting bed, drain and agro rode.

All of the things that we done in week 2 is the new things that we learn and we can apply all of this on our life.
